👋 Hi! I’m a UX/UI designer based in the Midwest, designing experiences that are intuitive, adaptable, dependable, and delightful.

I received my B.S. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and then worked as a research coordinator and lab manager there for 5 years. I’ve also enjoyed volunteering for a student organization at my alma mater as a design production assistant and event coordinator.

Through these experiences, I saw the role of design in efficient workflows and impactful experiences. Digital products that were simultaneously intuitive and elegant like Google Suites, Trello, Slack, Flickr, and Pinterest inspired me to refocus my career on user-centered digital design… so I quit my job and started my journey with DesignLab UX Academy’s bootcamp.

The collection of projects on this site are the result of my journey. It has definitely not been easy, but the process of getting feedback, learning from mistakes, and making iterations has shaped me to become a designer who can bridge users needs’ with the end product and business stakeholder goals. And I’ve learned lots of tricks along the way with Figma’s Auto-Layout tool to make fast iterations!

Welcome and thank you for looking around! 🎉

Fun facts about me

When I am not designing, I like cooking with friends, mentoring students, hiking, dancing, watching documentaries, and taking memorable photos of people and landscape! Come check out my collection of memories on my Flickr 📸
